​Dr. Kevin Smith has provided general internal medicine and primary care services to adults in Nashville, Tennessee for over 25 years at Saint Thomas West Hospital and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  He received his medical doctor degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and also completed internship and residency training in internal medicine at Vanderbilt.  He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  He has served as a faculty member in the past at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and recently joined the faculty at Nashville's newest medical school - the Thomas F. Frist, Jr College of Medicine at Belmont University.  He has been recognized nationally as a Master of the American College of Physicians and as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical society.  His philosophy of practice has consistently focused on the patient with annual physical examinations and excellent communication.  He has been recognized as a Castle Connelly Top Doctor since 2019.  He has also served as President of the Nashville Academy of Medicine and the Tennessee Medical Association.
